Bristol Zoological Society

“Kelly came to Bristol Zoological Society when we were closing Bristol Zoo Gardens. The ask was to help drive footfall, celebrate the Clifton site, and start to transition visitors over to Bristol Zoo Project (then Wild Place Project).

Kelly came into a stretched team dealing with a complex and sensitive transformation, and she had a huge impact from day one. She comfortably took hold of the Society’s marketing, established planning processes, KPIs, measurements, a creative approach and put in place the steps needed to deliver ‘Big Summer Send Off’, the celebration of Bristol Zoo Gardens. She partnered with the team and helped them to deliver some of their best work.

In that final summer we not only hit our footfall target, but we did it in a positive engaging way that allowed visitors to remember the best of Bristol Zoo Gardens, while looking to what the future of zoos can be. A large part of our success at this time was thanks to Kelly”

Marketing Campaign Management Bristol Zoo & Wild Place Project (Bristol Zoological Society)

In 2022 I worked with the Bristol Zoological Society to support the final push for footfall before they closed their doors to the Clifton site (August 2022).

I worked with Event company Bakehouse Factory to deliver the event and design agency The Way on the campaign creative.

I continued to work with them at what was ‘Wild Place Project’ (now ‘Bristol Zoo Project’) to plan and manage marketing campaigns for drive footfall for Autumn and Christmas 2022.
